Financial trading is a combination of both. while it lifts your inner human personality and helps you progress within you as a human at an intellectual, psychological and a deep emotional level, it also puts you through a series of self building blocks that determine your future and success in the game.
I clearly remember Mr. Chris telling me in the early days when I started my trading career, that “it is really hard to quit this game no matter how much you have lost, something in you will always get you back to it. Once a trader is always a trader”. Today, after 4 years, I understand the real meaning behind it. I was straight lucky enough that unlike very few new beginners, I was led straight to the professionals without the usual, bust and learn track which every trader goes through before realising that they need proper guidance. As much as how easily accessible this business is, it is even harder to realise that there has to be some catch.
Chris Tubby, without any doubt, has the most unique experience to share, all the way from the roots of what has become a digitalized arena of buyers and sellers. Understanding how financial markets actually work, was only possible when someone with experience from physical trading pits (trading floors back in the days before computers were used to click and buy&sell whatever we want) was telling you about the dynamics and underlying principles of trade.
I spent 3 months training and then a few months after that trading directly with Chris where I developed my understanding of financial futures trading, theories that govern the fundamental aspects of the markets, how and when to use them and their unique link to the way techincals impact the markets and thus our trade decision. Chris taught me only relevant and smartly picked techicals and fundamentals to let me find my own course and explore the tools that match my own unique trading style. At the time, which later became a very important techincal trading tool for me was Market Profile. Understanding the process of market auction helps you take that unique edge you really need to make it as a successful trader. Exploring this unique style was only possible with Chris Tubby’s help and guidance.
Handling financial markets require a very stable mindset. Trading after theory is 70% psychology. This is where Chris Tubby is a mastermind and an inspiration for me. His unique wisdom and way gets you transform into a right mindset which you don’t see it coming unless you start realising after putting the puzzle in place , that is when you actually start trading and understand how helpful and well worked, the psychological nurturing actually was.
Most of us have people we look forward to as we seek for inspiration . Sometimes we can admire individuals in themselves, sometimes only some characteristics the person has. Being able to look up to someone gives us that drive to not only dream but reach our goals in the daylight. Chris Tubby has given me the tools and his important time to help me shape my future and I am ever humble for the mentorship I still have the privilege to, never lets me get lost.
